Dji tello battery11/3/2023 around 20 minutes or so for a full charge!. The latter certainly reduces 'waiting time'. I'll keep one battery just for direct-to- Tello charging, and the other for charging with the hi-rate charger, and see if there is any difference in reliability / battery life over time. I know the Tello can get quite hot just being switched on (no flying), but also while simply charging. The 3A-charged battery was barely warm (24c), while the 1A Tello-charged battery came out at around 30c. I was a bit apprehensive about the initial 3A charge rate, and checked the temperature of both batteries during charging. Step 2: Hold power button on (battery not inserted) Step 3: While Holding down power button, slide battery in to Tello. Charging caused green light followed by rapid flash of THREE RED lights. This 'may' be that the Tello is still 'topping off' the charge, or could be the circuitry of the Drone itself is consuming some power. My problem: Drone would not switch on ever. With the power bank connected directly to the Tello, the blue light eventually turns solid blue, but around 100mA is still passing to the Tello. before the battery was fully loaded (The blue light was burning solid). I changed the loading adapter and then it just took another 10 min. The one i used when the light kept blinking slowly had an ouput from 1.55A at 5 Volts. When the battery (through the separate charger) is full, the light turns green and no further power is flowing to the battery. At that moment i realized that i used another loading charger, the one i used first had an output from 2.0A at 5 Volts. (Both charge rates reduce of course, as the battery increases its capacity). The charge rate when connected directly to the Tello was about 1 amp, while the separate charger was charging at around 3 amps. Measuring the charge rate was very surprising, as seen on the attached pics.īoth batteries were discharged to 9% before charging. I recently purchased a battery charger which connects to a USB wall adapter, or a power bank. The batteries are removable, have a 1100 mAh capacity and weigh just 26g. Based on what we know so far, the pins are most likely power, temperature sensor and BSI. Tello uses DJI flight technology, meaning that the flight time is up to 13 minutes Extra Tello batteries can be purchased for a low price, giving you the opportunity to extend flying sessions easily. I have the following information so far Its an 1100mAh lipo battery with a voltage of 3.8V and has 4 pins. I have 2 batteries for my Tello, and usually charge them directly through the drone. I do not yet have my Tello (arriving later this month) but have already begun my research for modification on all sorts of things. this gets you a usable fully-charged battery the quickest.New to the forum (first post), but thought I would share some info that may be useful. If you put three batteries in it before it's plugged it in, it starts charging the battery with the highest charge first. The meaning of the green and yellow lights and their blinking state is explained in the little booklet that came with the dock. After that i faced problems charging them and using them they lasted half of the normal time. batteries where fully charged and stored. Basically i have problem with the batteries in all my DJI products. Each battery can take an hour or more to fully charge, depending on discharge level and amperage of charger being used. Hello everyone I have problem with the batteries of my tello. The dock only charges 1 battery at the time. The amperage of this wall wart determines how long it will take to charge each battery. The two are connected with a USB -> micro USB cable. 43 5698 FREE delivery Mon, Jul 24 Gifi power Tello Battery & Tello Charger Compatible with DJI Tello & Tello Edu, 4 Batteries ,1100mAh Battery & AC Power Quick CharFREE delivery Mon, Jul 24 2-Pack 1100mAh Batteries for Ryze Tech DJI Tello Battery & USB CharList: 35.
